Welcome to Country Bank for Savings. We hope you enjoy your visit and learn a little bit about us. We are a state-chartered, mutual savings bank located in Ware, Massachusetts (about half way between the cities of Worcester and Springfield).

We adopted the name Country Bank for Savings in 1981 because it reflects the communities we serve and the beautiful part of the state we live in. You will see many pictures of our area featured in our advertising.

We have over $1 billion in assets, which makes us larger than the other community banks in our market so we have the resources to provide the latest in banking products, services and technology. But, we are smaller than the regional banks so we can provide personal service with local management and decision making. This is evidenced by our philosophy of treating customers as they would want to be treated.
