Join Country Bank and event hosts Ludlow Rotary & Ludlow Police Department for a fun filled bicycle safety course.
The warmer weather is on it’s way and its time to get the cycles ready for the summer. Bring your kids and the bikes to the Bicycle Rodeo sponsored by Ludlow Rotary Charitable Foundation Inc., Ludlow Police Department, Rotary District 7890 & Boston Children’s Hospital from 9:00 AM to NOON on Saturday, April 13, 2019 (in the event of rain the Rodeo will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2019).
The Rodeo will provide Ludlow Resident Children ages 4-14 with a FREE helmet, bicycle safety check and opportunities to educate parents and children about the safety aspects of riding a bicycle on streets and roads. The goal is to empower young cyclists with a minimal set of skills for on-road riding, to teach them enough rules of the road to keep them safe. Participants will go through various stations learning about road hazards, safety tips and basic rules.
Children who pre-registered and attend the event will be entered into the raffle for a brand new bicycle.
