The card information on the chip is encrypted and creates a single-use code which makes it extremely difficult to counterfeit. Our Mastercard® debit card also protects you from unauthorized transactions with Mastercard’s® Zero Liability Protection.

IMPORTANT: We take precautionary measures to safeguard your funds because your debit card is most likely linked to your primary checking account. We recommend notifying us if you will be making purchases outside of a 100-mile radius from your home or traveling outside of the state/country.

Manage your card

The Manage Cards feature, within our mobile banking app, gives you the ability to:

  • Turn your debit card on/off temporarily if you misplace it.
  • Lower your debit card spending limits (under your daily maximum).
  • Restrict specific merchants/transactions.

Compare Options

  • The chip is on the front of the card while the magnetic strip is still on the back of the card so you are able to use your card at chip-enabled and magnetic strip terminals.

    Europay, Mastercard®, and Visa® (EMV) have established chip card standards so they are commonly used around the world; making them easier to use outside of the U.S. as well as, in the U.S.

    Each ATM or merchant terminal may be different so the rule of thumb is to “follow the prompts.” You will be prompted to re-insert your chip card after swiping your magnetic strip and most terminals and ATMs require you to leave your card in the terminal until the transaction is complete.

  • If you believe that your card has been lost or stolen, notify us immediately by calling 800-322-8233 during normal business hours or 800-528-2273 during non-business hours.

    If you lost your card while outside of the United States during non-business hours, please call 812-647-9794.

    To report unauthorized activity on your debit card, notify our Debit Disputes partner immediately by calling
    800-808-6402 (available 24/7) or us at 800-322-8233 during normal business hours.
