Country Bank will be collecting toys from November 17th to December 12th in all of our banking centers. Toys will be delivered the week of December 15th to local police stations and schools to support local families in need. Gifts will go to children ranging in age from newborn to teen and can include clothing, crafts, toys, games and even self care items. All should be new and unwrapped in the original package.
A private non-profit organization that works on behalf of the 53,000 children engaged with the MA Department of Children & Families. They provide comfort and dignity to children in traumatic situations. Country Bank partners with the Wonderfund to provide thousands of local children in DCFS with gifts during the holiday season through a $10,000 toy donation provided by our team of Difference Makers. Deliveries will be made to Worcester and Springfield DCF offices on December 15th.
We’re spreading gratitude and good food this season. Each of our banking centers will be putting together Thanksgiving meal kits, complete with a voucher for a fresh turkey and sides like mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, green beans and rolls. Kits will be delivered the week of November 24th to local police stations and schools to support families in need.
Small business Saturday, November 29th, is just around the corner – a day dedicated to celebrate and support local businesses that make our communities thrive. At Country Bank, we’re proud to partner with small businesses every day and encourage you to shop local. In the spirit of Small Business Saturday and Giving Tuesday, our banking center teams will be purchasing $6,000 in local gift cards to support small businesses. These gift cards will be randomly distributed to customers in our banking centers throughout the month of December to help brighten the holiday season.
Country Bank is proud to be supporting our local seniors again this year! Packs will be assembled at our corporate office for Brookhaven, Quaboag on the Common, and Life Care Center of Wilbraham and delivered on December 22nd. In addition, Country Bank will be donating $50,000 to local senior centers as part of the Season of Difference.
Every Season of Difference, Country Bank’s team works alongside the Worcester Country Food Bank and Food Bank of Western Mass, as well as many smaller food pantries to help fight food insecurity throughout our communities. This year, Country Bank will be donating $54,000 to local food pantries for the holiday season.
