Meet Devan

Over a decade ago, Devan started his banking career as a part-time teller. Since then, he’s had a hand in several kinds of bank work. But for the past eight years, he’s led local banking centers, helping customers figure out what comes next for their finances.

In His Spare Time

When he’s not at the banking center, Devan enjoys golfing, playing video games, and cheering on the Patriots and Celtics. If you see him out and about with his wife and two dogs, say hello!

Favorite Part of the Job

“I love getting people to a place they never thought they could be. Whether it’s someone buying their first home or a business getting a loan or even a young person learning finance for the first time, I love being a person people trust to get them where they want to go.”

How long have you been in the banking industry?

I began my banking journey 14 years ago as a part-time teller. In that time, I’ve had the privilege of working in many roles within retail banking. I have been managing branches for the past eight years.

What advice would you give someone seeking a loan for the first time?

I think step number one is finding an expert you trust. All financial decisions are big decisions, so it’s important for you to feel comfortable and confident throughout the process and in your final decision!

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy outside of work?

I love spending time with my wife and our two dogs. I’m always watching Boston sports – especially the Patriots and Celtics. On my off time, I enjoy golfing, travelling, gaming, and trying new restaurants.

What is one piece of advice you would give to someone building their credit?

Start where you can and be patient! Credit isn’t meant to change quickly – it’s important to have a plan and stick to it over time to build strong credit. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
