175 Gifts for 175 years!

For our 175th year, we’re giving back to the community that got us here. We’ve always had a heart for investing in our community, but our 175th anniversary called for something special.

Throughout the year, we’ll be giving 175 gifts to community members, nonprofits, charities, and local folks in need.

Consider it a celebration of appreciation. Thank you for 175 years.

• $10,000 donation to the Western New England University Fintech Incubator
• 14 four-packs of Worcester Red Sox tickets to our customers
• 3,000 trees in 25 forests to celebrate Earth Day through the Arbor Day Foundation
• $10,000 donation to the Main South Community Development Corporation
• $10,000 donation to the YMCA of Greater Springfield
• $7,000 donation to Venture Community Services
• $6,000 donation to Springfield Business Improvement District
• $5,000 donation to Spencer Agricultural Association
• $5,000 donation to the Springfield Museums
• $20,000 to Revitalize Community Development Corporation to benefit the community
• 20 tickets and private suite at a Woo Sox game for one of our Uxbridge Banking Center customers to celebrate our newest location opening
• Six 4-Packs of Worcester Red Sox tickets given to randomly selected employees
• Five 4-Packs of Old Sturbridge Village tickets given to customers through drawings in our banking centers
• 10 volunteers at two charitable walks the Walk for the Homeless through the Central Ma Housing Alliance and the Hope Walks hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
• 4 volunteers at the Town of Ware Earth Day Cleanup
• $7,000 donation to the Women’s Initiative
• 25 pieces of technology (computers, phones, tablets, appliances) recycled safely in partnership with Computer Removal of Worcester in our commitment to sustainability and taking care of our planet.
• 2 pairs of Boston Red Sox box seat tickets, given to a randomly selected customer and employee who will each get to attend a game this summer!

Country bank is dedicated to donating to local organizations throughout the year, not only through this initiative but as a daily effort to make a difference in the communities we serve. As of May 27th, we have donated $222,210 to 172 organizations!
