
Sponsoring New CPE Forum Series
The Continuing Professional Education Forum (CPE Forum) has announced its Spring educational series and Country Bank is proud to be the sponsor. The seven-week online live streaming series is offered free to the public. Those professionals seeking Continuing Professional Education credits must pay a nominal fee. The Spring series will offer 22 hours of CPE credits. All programs are 3-hours in length and held on Tuesdays, except for the 4-hour Ethics session on June 9th. The virtual programs can be accessed by a computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone. No camera or microphone is needed to participate. Advance registration is required.
Patrick L Parker, Founder and Managing Partner and representatives from Royal Parker Spruce will deliver the following programs:
- May 12th – Ethical Issues in Employment Law
- May 26th – AI on the Job: Drafting AI Polices for the Workplace
- June 2nd – Urgent Changes to Make in Mental Health & Workplace Safety Polices
- June 16th – Hot Button Issues: Navigating AI Initiatives, Using AI for HR Purposes
Jack Moore, CFA, Managing Partner & CIO of Harpswell Advisors will speak on May 19th on Modern Endowment Management & Institutional Best Practices
Joy Fisher, Principal of CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP will provide a four-hour review of Behavior Ethics: Falling over the Moral Cliff on May 19th. This program will satisfy the Ethics licensing requirement for CPA’s.
The series will conclude on June 23 with a Timothy Czerniejewski, VP of Commercial Banking at Easthampton Savings Bank.
