About Me
How long have you been in the banking/lending industry?
I’ve been in the banking industry for 27 years. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Worcester State University, and a Master’s Degree from Nichols College.
What hobbies or activities do you enjoy outside of work?
I enjoy running, traveling, and spending time with my family. The life of going to work and school can be demanding, that’s why my family likes to travel as much as we can to enjoy our downtime.
What is your proudest moment as a lender?
I’ve had many proud moments, but the most gratifying is when you’ve helped to finance the start of someone’s business, and then you watch it grow and succeed. The loyalty and respect that’s built and the impact made is everlasting.
What’s your favorite aspect of working with local businesses?
My favorite part of commercial lending is the relationships that are built with business clients through consistency and performance. Each business and investment strategy is unique in its own way. From analyzing a real estate transaction to structuring a line of credit for a business, I enjoy the work of putting a deal together and getting it done for the customer.
What’s a fun or unique fact about you that most people wouldn’t know?
In October of 2004, I was lucky enough to attend Game 2 of the 2004 World Series at Fenway Park, the year the Red Sox broke “the curse”. An atmosphere and experience I’ll never forget.
