Donating toys to children in need
Country Bank collects toys every November and December in all of our banking centers. Toys are delivered mid December to local police stations and schools to support local families in need. Gifts go to children ranging in age from newborn to teen and can include clothing, crafts, toys, games and even self care items. All gifts are new and unwrapped in the original package.
Every child deserves a magical holiday.
The Wonderfund of Massachusetts
A private non-profit organization that works on behalf of the 53,000 children engaged with the MA Department of Children & Families. They provide comfort and dignity to children in traumatic situations. Country Bank partners with the Wonderfund to provide thousands of local children in DCFS with gifts during the holiday season through a $10,000 toy donation provided by our team of Difference Makers. Deliveries are made to Worcester and Springfield DCF offices mid December.
175 Thanksgiving Meals
To celebrate 175 years of giving back
In 2025, our banking centers put together Thanksgiving meal kits, complete with a voucher for a fresh turkey and sides like mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, green beans and rolls. Kits were delivered ahead of Thanksgiving to local police stations and schools to support families in need.

Small Business Saturday & Giving Tuesday
Small business Saturday, is a day dedicated to celebrate and support local businesses that make our communities thrive. At Country Bank, we’re proud to partner with small businesses every day and encourage you to shop local.
In the spirit of Small Business Saturday and Giving Tuesday, our banking center teams purchase $6,000 in local gift cards to support small businesses each year. These gift cards are then randomly distributed to customers in our banking centers throughout the month of December to help brighten the holiday season.
Food Bank & Senior Center Support
Nursing Home Care Packs
Country Bank is proud to support our local seniors. Care packs are assembled at our corporate office for Brookhaven, Quaboag on the Common, and Life Care Center of Wilbraham and delivered in December. In addition, Country Bank donates over $50,000 to local senior centers as part of the Season of Difference.
Food Pantry Volunteerism & Donations
Every Season of Difference, Country Bank’s team works alongside the Worcester Country Food Bank and Food Bank of Western Mass, as well as many smaller food pantries to help fight food insecurity throughout our communities. Each year, Country Bank donates over $50,000 to local food pantries for the holiday season.
