    Mobile Wallet

    Country Bank supports mobile wallet payments with Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay. You can simply scan your phone to make payments anywhere mobile purchasing services are accepted. Here’s how mobile purchasing works:

    1. Open your mobile wallet app on your iPhone (for Apple Pay) or download the Samsung Pay app or Google Pay app on your phone, and then add your Country Bank Mastercard® debit card information.
    2. At checkout, hold up your device to the scanner to make a purchase. Since your card is digitally encrypted, there’s an extra layer of security every time you choose to pay with your phone.
    3. That’s it! Go on your merry way, without even reaching for your wallet.

That’s why we offer a Mastercard® debit chip card that provides enhanced security to safeguard your information.  Our debit chip card also provides the convenience of making purchases wherever Mastercard® is accepted and access to cash 24/7 via ATM or through cash back when making a purchase.

    Chip Cards (AKA EMV Cards)

    A chip (or EMV) card has an embedded microchip that provides enhanced security and protection against fraud.  Card information on the chip is encrypted and creates a single-use code which makes it extremely difficult to counterfeit.  The chip is on the front of the card while the magnetic strip is still on the back of the card so you are able to use your card at chip-enabled and magnetic strip terminals.

    Europay, Mastercard® and Visa® (EMV) established chip card standards so they are commonly used around the world making them easier to use outside of the U.S. as well as, in the U.S. as more merchants move to these standards.

    How to use your chip card at chip-enabled merchants or ATMs

    Each ATM or merchant terminal may be different so the rule of thumb is to “follow the prompts.” You will be prompted to re-insert your chip card after swiping your magnetic strip and most terminals and ATMS require you to leave your card in the terminal until the transaction is complete.

  • Text Banking

    You must be enrolled in online banking to utilize text banking. You can register for text banking while logged into your online banking. Please click on settings and complete the process. Country Bank’s text banking is FREE, however, message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier.

    A2A and P2P Transfers for consumers…Send and Receive money from people and external accounts!

    Available through online banking or the mobile app.

    Pay Someone: Send a payment to another person. All you need is their email address or mobile phone number. You will be prompted to enter a “secret word”, this will be used for verification when the recipient receives the text message or email.

    • Email address – recipient will receive an email requesting permission to receive or send funds. Recipient will follow a hyperlink where they will enter their account information.
    • Mobile phone number – recipient will receive a text message requesting permission to receive or send funds. Recipient will follow a hyperlink where they will enter their account information.

    External Transfers: Move money between your Country Bank accounts and your accounts at other financial institutions. You must be an owner on both accounts.

    • Enter the routing and account numbers of your external account. The name on the account must be the primary account owner.
    • Go back to your “transfer” tab and then “send and receive” and enter the trial transaction amounts to get started.

    Eligible accounts include consumer checking, savings and money market deposit accounts.

    To confirm your account, two trial transactions less than $1 will credit and debit your account at the other institution within two business days or you will have the ability to verify your account through PLAID.
